1961 – 2019
Tracey Camilla Kirk Newcomb, 57, of Catlettsburg, went to be with her Lord Friday, March 8, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Newcomb was born July 22, 1961 in Ashland, KY to the late Floyd Kirk and Pearl Woods Kirk Nichols. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Charles Edward Newcomb in December of 2008, and niece Lora Ellen Griffith.
Tracey was a 1979 graduate of Boyd County High School, received her Nursing Degree from Ashland Community College in 1985 and was a retired RN from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, horseback riding, and animals. Tracey was a member of Sorority Nursing School and Louisa Community Fellowship Church.
Survivors include sisters, Pamela Kirk Griffith (Jerry) of Ashland, KY and Patty Jan Wills of Virginia Beach, VA, nephew, Jeremy E. Griffith of Ashland, great nephew William Douglas Griffith, best friend, Jennifer Mills, and many other friends who will miss her.
A Memorial Service for Mrs. Newcomb will be at 1:00pm, Friday, March 15, 2019 at Grandview Manor, 204 24th Street, Catlettsburg. Pastor Ben Clarke will officiate.
