1947 – 2020
Sharon Johnson Sawyer, 72, of Ashland, KY, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Community Hospice Care Center, her loving family at her side.
Ms. Sawyer was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Don and Dorothy Aldridge Johnson. Sharon graduated from Westminster High School in Westminster, CA and was an Administrative Assistant for CTB Construction. Her hobbies were crafting, sewing and quilting. She was a member of Catlettsburg United Methodist Church and a member of the Ladies Group of the Church.
Sharon is survived by her son and daughter in law, John and Krista Sawyer of Frankfort, KY, two precious grandchildren, brothers, Woody Johnson (Sandy) of LaQuinta, CA and Ray Fugitt (Tricia Ward) of Carson City, NV, sisters, Judy Atkinson (Tom) of Pahrump, NV and Pam Maynez (Dennis) of Santa Cruz, CA, and cousin Joy Hays.
Memorial Service will be from 2:00pm until 4:00pm, Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Catlettsburg United Methodist Church. Pastor Andrew Donner and Pastor Charles Allen will officiate.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, KY 4101.
