Lita Kay Mullins Moore

She was preceded in death by her husband Rick Moore and her mother, Doris Ann White Mullins. She leaves behind one daughter Chelsea Morgan (Caleb) Bailey. Before becoming ill, Lita was the Court Administrator for one of the busiest Judges in Greenup County and prior to that role she was the legal secretary for the attorney who later became Judge (Hon. Jeff Preston).
Lita was always dressed for whatever the day held. She would not leave the house without her hair done, makeup on and lipstick applied. She absolutely held a beauty that was breath taking.
Lita loved music and knew lots of facts about musicians and writers because she would read the album covers to learn everything about the artist. Her favorite music was Southern Gospel, 80s & 90s Classic Rock and Classic Country. Some of her favorite artist were, The Cathedrals; Jimmy Buffet, Hank and Merle.
Her favorite vacation spot was the beach and she loved going to Garden City, South Carolina. Her family started the tradition of going to the beach every summer about 20 years ago. She loved sitting on the Pier, eating fresh seafood and walking the beach.
She attended Oakland Avenue Baptist Church where she and her late husband Rick were members.
She will be laid to rest in Golden Oaks Cemetery. Friends and loved ones may call and visit at the Neal Funeral Home, 2409 Center Street in Catlettsburg, Kentucky on Monday, December 23, 2019 from 11am until the Funeral at 1pm and Rev. Ed Caudill will officiate.
