1960 – 2018
Delbert Cecil Johnson, 58, Gallipolis, OH passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center.
Mr. Johnson was born September 3, 1960 to the late Delbert and Joann Prichard Johnson in Ashland, KY. Delbert was a 1978 graduate of Boyd County High School, and a retired painter with BC Tool Rental. He loved cars, sports cars, and old cars, especially rebuilding them.
Delbert is survived by his children, daughter, Christy Johnson (Gene) of Ironton, OH, and son, Michael Johnson, of Ironton, two grandchildren, Patricia Cooper and William McComas. He is also survived by two brothers, Bryan Johnson (Jill) of Coal Grove, OH and Joe Johnson of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Linda Harrison Johnson in 2008, and a sister, Rena Steed.
Graveside service will be at 1:30pm, Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Prichard Cemetery, Bolts Fork, Catletsburg. Pastor Frank Hulett will officiate. There is no visitation
Neal-Kilgore & Collier is assisting the family with arrangements.
